Bio


Tania Garcia Chavez, a Colorado native, earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law after completing her undergraduate studies at Regis University. As the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants, she brings a personal understanding of the challenges families face when navigating different legal systems.


Tania was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 2023 and began her legal career in 2024 as a Deputy Public Defender in Douglas County, Colorado. In that role, she gained valuable courtroom experience representing clients in criminal matters and developed a practical understanding of the legal process.


Through her work in criminal defense, Tania developed a deeper appreciation for the impact legal proceedings can have on individuals and their families. She later expanded her practice into immigration law, where she assists clients with matters such as unlawful presence waivers, U visas, family and marriage-based adjustments of status, and naturalization.


Her education and professional background allow her to thoughtfully guide clients through both the criminal and immigration legal systems with care and attention
